SPROUTED KAMBU PORRIDGE MIX / KAMBANG KOOZH MIX ❤️

Kambu koozh, also known as “Kambang koozh” in some regions, is a traditional South Indian beverage made from fermented pearl millet (bajra) flour. It offers lot of health benefits too as it is rich in micronutrients & fiber.Overall, kambu koozh is a nutritious and refreshing beverage that offers numerous health benefits when consumed as part of a balanced diet!!

Ingredients:

Sprouted Kambu

KAMBANG KOOZH RECIPE:

✅In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of Kambu flour and 3 cups of water. Mix well until the flour is completely dissolved in water, ensuring there are no lumps.

✅Allow the mixture to ferment overnight or for at least 8-10 hours. Fermentation helps to enhance the flavor and nutritional benefits of the koozh.

✅After fermentation, you will notice that the mixture has slightly thickened. Stir the mixture well to ensure it is evenly mixed.

✅Transfer the fermented mixture to a cooking pot and place it on the stove over medium heat.

✅Add 1 cup of water & Continuously stir the mixture as it heats up to prevent lumps from forming. Add salt to taste and continue stirring until the koozh reaches a thick, porridge-like consistency.

✅Once the koozh has thickened to your desired consistency, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.

✅Serve the Kambang Koozh warm or at room temperature. It can be enjoyed as a refreshing beverage on its own or by adding small onions, chopped green chillies to enhance the taste.
