NANNARI HONEY SYRUP

While I was a kid, my dad often stops at the small juice shops which dot the countryside of Tamil Nadu and orders a Nannari sarbath for us. The shopkeeper would liberally ladle out two tablespoons of the syrup, add crushed ice from a thermocol container, take out an aluminium lemon juicer and squeeze out half a lemon into the long glass and ceremoniously whisk it with a musical melody made with his spoon. I loved it. But, with wisdom catching up, I decided to make the sarbath at home as i found most of the store bought Nannari Syrups are only artificial flavors and it has nothing to do with Nannari. This is a recipe which i started preparing for my family without any artificial stuffs, white sugar, additives and preservatives which fills your tummy with all the health benefits of Nannari!!

INGREDIENTS

Nannari Roots, Pure Raw Honey, Brown Sugar, and Lemon.

METHOD

Stir in a small quantity of this syrup in a cup of water along with a tbsp of lemon juice.

Refrigerate and serve chilled.

Note : Product quantity is 200ml which varies between 250g to 270g in weight depending on the thickness of the syrup!!
